Our Featured Staff

I believe that we all enter the world as a blank slate, until facets of life begin to write our stories. Many of our stories have been written by: nature vs. nurture, childhood & environmental trauma, ineffective coping skills, inability to understand or manage life triggers, and overall frustrations with life stressors and pain. I believe, despite what facets of life has written into our stories, with help we can learn not only how to become our best selves but also how to re-write our stories to reflect who we've become!

My practice is open to children, adolescents, adults, and families. When you are ready to take that step. I look forward to working with you!

I am an Air Force Veteran. I served for 4 years as Security Forces/Military Police. I understand the mentality of a first responder and the strength that is needed to complete the job. I can help veterans navigate through we experienced or witnessed as well as any client that has had to endure high stress situations. I specialize in Brainspotting, Written Exposure, CBT, DBT and coping skills to help you find and keep your way.

My walk with therapy began by witnessing a number of disparities and lack of resources to quality mental health care. I strive to close the gap for my clients and others for future generations to come. No matter what walk of life, socioeconomic status, or barriers that have come one's way, sound mental health is a necessity that should be offered to all in need.

Children are born into this world pure and precious, and it is life’s experiences and challenges that shape them and alter their emotions. It might not always be easy to identify what that is or what they need. My goal is to help both you and your child discover this together! Since I can remember, I have had a passion for helping children of all levels.

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate and doubly certified life coach from North Carolina where I still reside with my husband and two fur babies! I graduated with my bachelors in psychology from North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University and my clinical masters from Touro University. I love working with with clients and supporting them towards their goals, because it’s fulfilling and incredible to watch people transform right before your eyes and finally attain things they’d once struggled to or thought wasn’t possible. When I’m not seeing clients, I’m peer-pressuring my husband into trying different coffee drinks (he hates coffee), enjoying good food, and trying new things! 🙂
