Rising Hope Clinical also embraces the recovery model in it's array of services. How can I evaluate whether therapy is working?
As you begin therapy, you should establish clear goals with your therapist.
After a few sessions, it is a good sign if you feel the experience is a joint effort and that you and your therapist enjoy a comfortable relationship. Alternatively, you should be open with your therapist if you find yourself feeling “stuck” or lacking direction once you have been in therapy a while.
Be sure to periodically spend time with your therapist to review your progress. Although there are other considerations affecting the duration of therapy, success in reaching your primary goals should be a major factor in deciding when you should end therapy.

A sliding scale is a process in which we charge based on your income.
What can I expect from the first session?
Your first session will consist of an assessment and evaluation only. Prepare to be asked many questions in order for your therapist to see how your individual needs can be met and what type of assistance would be more suitable for you.
How long does therapy last? How will I know when I'm done?
It depends on your personal goals. We offer brief therapy solutions, to psychotherapy, couples counseling and much more. Each individuals needs will vary, so you will know when you are done if you feel that you have reached your goals and your needs have been met.
What types of services do you offer?

Once you book an appointment, you will receive a confirmation email.
Do you offer distant therapy services to those out of state?
We do not offer services outside of the state of 27009 and Georgia.

Are you on call for emergencies?
If you have an emergency, please call 911. We do not offer emergency on call support. However, if you are in need of assistance, we can refer you to the best point of contact for your individual needs. If you are suicidal, please call the Suicide Prevention Hotline at 1-800-273-8255.
Should I prepare for my first therapy session?
You can always prepare for your first therapy session by first being open as possible. Be open to explore uncomfortable questions. You should also come into your first session with an intention. Think about what you’re seeking to get out of therapy. This aim will be a great starting point and the catalyst for your sessions. Lastly, don’t be hard on yourself. It’s okay to feel awkward and uncomfortable. Oftentimes, the most progress is achieved from getting out of your comfort zone.
